What are tags?
Tags are like message based macros, you may have seen the used a lot when we provide support for someone. Truth is a lot of people have very simmilar issues so instead of typing out the exact same thing every time we can send a tag which provides a uniform response.
They are normally denoted by a exclamation point !
followed by the tag name such as spoonfeed
or sq
We will go over a few of the most common tags used in inventor and what they mean.
Spoonfeed
Can someone make a moderation bot for me?
!spoonfeed
!spoonfeed
Inventor support does not spoonfeed answers, give you a final product, or otherwise do your work for you.
The whole point of Inventor is to create a fully-custom bot, and you need to put in the work to create that bot. If you're having trouble understanding a concept or want help with a specific issue, we are more than happy to explain things, but we will not make the final product for you. Having support build you the final version and skipping to the end doesn't help you learn how to use Inventor, and only makes you more dependent on us for "help" (and turns Inventor support into a free full-service bot-making service).
If you're looking to learn from examples of already-made Inventor flows, we'd suggest taking a look at the tutorials and the library.
This tag is used when someone asks for us or someone else to build a bot from the ground up, as the tag says inventor support does not and will not build a bot for you. Thats not our job, we will help you understand certain concepts so that you can build the bot you want but the whole point of inventor is to provide you with toolbox that is versatile enough to allow you to build anything. For support to build an entire bot for you would undermine the entire point of inventor.
Ping
Please don't ping mods for help. This won't make them respond faster. You will be warned for excessive pings.
You might see this message if you ping a mod in the discord server, it has a message tag counterpart but they effectively tell you the same thing. Do not ping members of support or mods for help, we are volunteers and may not be available all the time.
